Get Shirty looks a bargain buy after his Royal Ascot success

Get Shirty purchased by Jason Kelly Bloodstock last July for €30,000 on behalf of Akela Thoroughbreds continued his fine form landing the Copper Horse handicap at Royal Ascot.

Ridden by Danny Tudhope, the 6 year old gelding was always travelling well and quickened well inside the final furlong to put the race to bed. He will now be aimed at the Ebor at York in August.

Get Shirty is Jason Kelly Bloodstock second Royal Ascot winner purchased from the Arqana July sale following Lord Glitters victory in the 2019 Queen Anne Stakes.
